Springwood Campus is proud to share the exciting success of one of our talented students, Myron, who recently participated in a prestigious art exhibition on 24 February. Myron showcased his artwork at the event, which was attended by the Mayor of Poole. During the exhibition, the Mayor enquired about the school and was impressed by Mylon’s passion and dedication.

The event was a remarkable achievement for Myron. Although the exhibition wasn’t specifically aimed at selling artwork, Myron’s drawing was so captivating that it caught the attention of several visitors. In a surprising turn of events, Myron became the only artist out of the 30 participants to sell a piece of his artwork for £50. This success is a testament to his unique talent and the high regard in which his work is held.

Myron thoroughly enjoyed his experience as an artist, and his behavior at the event was exemplary. He demonstrated not only artistic ability but also professionalism and enthusiasm, which made him stand out among his peers.

The exhibition also presented a fantastic opportunity for Myron to consider submitting his artwork to the prestigious Young Artists’ Summer Show. Following the event, Myron expressed interest in applying, and he has already received an encouraging response from the show’s team. The Royal Academy of Arts invited him to submit his artwork for consideration in the upcoming Summer Show, with the submission deadline set for 5 March 2025.

Myron’s journey as an artist is just beginning, and we can’t wait to see where his talent takes him next. We wish him the best of luck in his future artistic endeavors and look forward to supporting him as he continues to shine!
