On Wednesday, 19th March, Littlewood Early Years took part in Beep Beep! Day, an exciting and educational event aimed at teaching young children the basics of road safety through fun activities.
The main goal of Beep Beep! Day is to raise awareness among children, parents, and the local community about the importance of protecting children on the roads.
Throughout the day, the children learned key safety messages, including the importance of holding hands with an adult when walking near roads. The pupils practiced safe crossing using the road markings on the playground, reinforcing vital lessons in a hands-on way.
A highlight of the day was the Attention Autism session, where children created a traffic light effect by sprinkling powder paint from a height, which kept their focus while teaching them about traffic signals. The fun continued with car washing, car printing in paint, and following road tracks with toy cars in the outdoor area.
Our Early Years classes had a fantastic time while learning essential safety skills. Beep Beep! Day was a fun-filled success, and we look forward to more events like this in the future!
