The Magic of Christmas Music

This term students in Pluto and Mars classes have been working with Jamie from Absolute Music. Jamie has visited Springwood every week to provide students with opportunities to be musical together, playing different instruments, creating compositions and performing to each other. Toward the end of the term, attention inevitably turned to Christmas celebrations and this week, Dominic, Freya, Brooke, Chris, Jordan, Tyler and Callum from Pluto Class and Conor and Aiden from Mars Class performed to an audience of their parents and some school staff. This represented a wonderful achievement for all of them and it was great to see their experience, enthusiasm and talent and the way they worked together and encouraged and supported each other. All eight of our school values were clearly on show, as you can see for yourself in the film clips below.
