Children’s Mental Health Week was marked at Springwood during the week of 7 February with a range of activities to support pupils and students in their understanding of mental health and the things they can do to keep well. Students in Pluto Class drew hot-air balloons to illustrate their support networks of people who lift them up and help them to try new things (based on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XVOnukmI5Y).
In other classes, children took exercise by swimming, went gardening and visited the beach for fresh air and to play with friends. We ended the week by expressing ourselves in our custom-made photo booth.
