Physical Education (PE)

This autumn term, primary classes and some senior classes have been learning about gymnastics. A part of this lesson is floor work. This involves the pupils creating and learning routines, working together and performing to their peers. This develops self-esteem, fitness and confidence.

Table Top Cricket

This autumn term, Blackbirds and Seagulls Class have been learning how to play table top cricket. They have been coached by Rob Newton, a table top cricket coach. Rob works for the Lord Taverners Charitable Trust, and we have been fortunate to have the opportunity for Rob to work with our pupils for the past few years. The pupils learnt the rules to play and in the last lesson played an inter-class match.
